Yvonne has over 16 years marketing and communications experience, which she has gained within the telecommunications, retail and finance sectors.

Prior to joining department 83, Yvonne worked for BT where she achieved considerable marketing experience in strategic planning, event, speaker programme management, public relations and communication.

Yvonne headed the PR department for BTUK Markets, where she developed the PR strategy for BT UK Markets, directed and managed BT’s PR agencies and developed integrated and cost-effective programmes which supported BT’s core marketing campaigns.

Yvonne also managed the marketing input for BT’s price control review with Oftel.

Yvonne has specialist experience in event management, PR, and media relations and she holds a BSc Honours degree in Economics and a Master of Business Administration degree from Cranfield Business School.

Yvonne is married with a young daughter and enjoys horse-riding, particularly dressage.
