The theme for the 2009 Mobile Asia Congress is 'Inspiring the Mobile Future'. Building on Alcatel-Lucent's commitment to the Global eSustainability initiative and strong Corporate Social Responsibility Programme, Sean Dolan's keynote presentation will be entitled 'Mobile Planet: Technology as an Enabler to Environmental Sustainability'.
This session will examine the impact the mobile industry has on the environment, what the leaders in the field are doing to mitigate this and how mobile technology is acting as a catalyst for other industries to reduce their environmental impact.
The Mobile Asia Congress will bring together the leadership of Asian mobile operators and key players in the broader mobile ecosystem in an exclusive forum for sharing the visions and strategies that will shape the mobile future.
Over a two-day period, senior mobile industry executives from across Asia and the world will attend this elite leadership event, which will explore high-growth industry areas, emerging topics and a mainstay of strategic and technological issues, with an emphasis on developments in the Asian market. As ever, the keynote programme will take centre stage in this showcase of the mobile future and will feature CEOs of some of the world's largest and most influential mobile communications companies.
