Alcatel-Lucent nominated for a Global Mobile Award

Alcatel-Lucent has been selected as a nominee from hundreds of entries for a Global Mobile Award in the category – 'Best Infrastructure Technology', for their lightRadio Network Architecture.

In this category they will be in competition with ByteMobile, Huawei, Nokia Siemens Networks, Telstra and Ericsson, and Vantage Communications.

The winners will be announced at Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona on Tuesday 28 February.

The GSMA's Global Mobile Awards honour excellence and innovation in mobile communications, and this year the GSMA received a record number of entries with 600 submissions.
